MUSIC CAREER
SHINee is a South Korean contemporary R&B boy group formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, one of the largest entertainment companies in Asia. The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. They made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo with their single, "Replay".

Since their debut, Shinee has released three full-length albums, four mini-albums, one live album and various singles. They have also won many awards, held a concert tour and starred in their own reality shows. Shinee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the "Shinee Trend" and are known for their highly synchronized and complicated dancing. They made their Japanese debut on June 22, 2011 by releasing a Japanese version of their single, Replay, followed by their first Japanese studio album, The First on December 7, 2011.

SHERLOCKE (EP)
Sherlock is the fourth EP of South Korean boy group Shinee. The physical CD was released on March 21, 2012 in South Korea, but the album was made available online worldwide on March 19, 2012. They have set the record for most album sales in March 2012. According to statistics released by Gaon, Shinee’s fourth mini-album "Sherlock" released on March 19 sold 135,370 copies in the month of March. They has set the record for most album sales in March 2012. The title song "Sherlock (Clue + Note)" topped the weekly download chart for 5 weeks and digital chart, various music charts as well. On March 27, 2012, "Sherlock" placed 10th on the Billboard Weekly Heatseekers Albums and 5th on the Billboard Weekly World Albums charts respectively.

Album Background:
The title song "Sherlock (Clue + Note)" a hybrid remix, is choreographed by Tony Testa, who previously worked for Kylie Minogue.

‘Honesty’ is written by Jonghyun, to give thanks to their fans who have stayed by their side with unchanging love until now. The two songs that was remixed for ‘Sherlock’ are ‘Clue’ and ‘Note,’ the colorful impressive solos and string session of guitar in ‘The Reason’, and ‘Alarm Clock’ where Jonghyun and Minho participated in the lyrics about wishing to wake up from a nightmare of past break-up.

The album consists of a total of 7 songs in a variety of music colors, including ‘Stranger’, the main theme song for Strangers6, a Korea-China-Japan joint drama scheduled to be aired in Korea, with thrilling sound and melody composed by Kenzie The song was firstly released in Japanese, as a bonus track of their debut Japanese album The First.
